I don't know about good riffs, I can maybe do some bluesy riffs if I get an hour or so free.

Here is something I did really quick using a Guitar Techniques backing track.Recorded on Yamaha AW16g via Pod Mk1 using Modern High Gain setting- fairly clean- a touch of compression and reverb.Starts with N, N & M at 9 secs, M at 19 secs, M & B at 35 secs B at 51 secs, B & N at 66 secs. the rest is aimless noodling. Very rushed and please remember I am a bassist. Guitar is Fender 1970's USA Strat ( a good one!). I hope it attached- I have not done this before- if not then I will try again when my connection is a little more stable.

But when I play it in media player, it says 'Artist: No Doubt'. You aren't really Gwen Stefani are you?? :lol:

Thanks chaps- much appreciated as I was a bit of a hurry. I don't know where the "No Doubt" thing crept in there I really dont.
Tonewolf, I just used the Pod- it was what they cunningly refer to as Modern High Gain which they equate to a Soldano I think.I had gain on 2, bass 3, mid 5, treble 8 reverb on 2 and compression on 1.5. To be honest I was not over pleased with the settings but it was a case of doing it whilst I had a hour to spare- I am out every other night this week. Fortunately the Apache's sound so good it is not hard to get it sounding good- you should hear them live- cranked up- they sing.
