i also find the CS neck to be not as loud as it might be. i always have to wind the bridge pup down a bit to get the volumes to balance.

no problem though - tonally it works perfectly with the CS bridge!

i would suggest trying a MM neck.

Since when did we advise pickup choices on 'volume'? Seems ridiculous!!

Might seem obtuse of me, but why would you spend the money on a BKP if you're not interested in tone? Might as well get yourself some EMGs or stick a bridge humbucker in the neck position - that should get it loud enough for you.
