What would you do? - Les Paul and Strat Pup queries

Hey guys.

I'm toying with the idea of replacing the covered set of Rebel Yells I have in my Tokai Love Rock Custom for something else, but as I'm not aiming for any sound in particular, I don't really know what to go for.

After thinking about it I have a few options:

1. Replace the RYs with a set of MMs (as a 1st idea, open to others).

2. Take the Cold Sweat out of my Ash Strat, have a compatible neck pickup wound to go with it and then put these in the Tokai. But then what to put back in the Strat?

3. Leave the Strat how it is and get a pair of MQs for the Tokai.

I know without saying what sound I'm going for makes it hard to recommend stuff  but thought I'd ask anyway!

Just for a start:  maybe you could try the CS bridge in the Tokai (should match OK with the RY neck) and the RY bridge in the Strat (might be bright, but then so is the CS).  No-cost option!

Well I have a MQ bridge in my love rock and its a keeper there :) Superb for both clean and crunch sounds - they clean up well with the volume too which is really useful for me

As daft as this may sound, I don't really know tbh!

I guess I've been lucky in that every set of BKPs I've bought for all my other guitars have been exactly what I was looking for, whereas the RYs for the Tokai were more of a spur of the moment thing to cover a base I didn't have in any other guitar.
