Nailbomb v Rebel Yell or Cold Sweat

Hi there,

I'm looking to buy me a bridge pup for a PRS CE22 and I'm leaning towards the Nailbombs at the moment, but want to see if anyone rates the Rebels or Cold Sweat higher. I've watched endless videos and read heaps of reviews, but just can't make up my mind.

I like a rich distortion that's a bit on the tighter side rather than a real dirty sound. I really like the sound the guys from Karnivool get, just as an idea of the sound I'm after.

I'll recommend the same pickup I always recommend for Tool tones, although they do sound different
holy diver  :D
it cleans up better than the nailbomb and sounds more open on distorted chords

but I guess they use stock pickups, PRS HFS and Gibson 498t, which I believe are closer to the cold sweat and crawler, respectively
I wouldn't pick a cold sweat for that tone, anyway
I'll keep the holy diver advice

Yeah, Karnivool are definately in my top 5, dangerous to drive to cos it just makes you want to put the pedal to the floor...
So I emailed the guys and they recon go with the Cold Sweats, but I'm not 100% sure on those ones, same with the holy diver. And the Rebel Yell is definately off the list. But after doing a little bit more digging around I think I'm actually sold on the Miracle Man. Apparently very "Wylde" like, and do like his tone.
Anyone with a PRS tried the MM's?

If you like Wylde's tone, and Karnivool..I would probably go with the Cold Sweats. You can get quite close to Wylde's tone (at least No rest for the wicked) with the Cold Sweats, and Karnivool has more mids in the tone than what the Miracle man puts out.

I am relatively new to this site with only a few posts.  The approach to findng tones thru changing pickups instead of amps is somewhat new to me.  Please bear with me on that item. 

I have an Epiphone LP, picked it up very very cheap from a fellow needing cash.  It actually plays pretty well.  It has Seymour Duncan Jazz neck and the zz top sounding bridge pups.   Not a fan really of those. 

To get to a good solid AC/DC bridge pup is the quest.  In terms of tonal range, the bottom of the pup to be an AC/DC and then up for gain on the bridge, and a Guns and Roses tone on the neck pup.    The three pups in this post have many refernces in other posts.   I am curious about in the Les Paul type of guitar in particular.

Here in the US, Bareknuckles are a bit pricey.   Funny thing is that I can buy a used amp here for the price of two BK pickups!  But there are those I know that have them and swear by them.  A chance I am willing to take.
