On the hunt for an 8 string, agile import costs?

7 and 8 strings are quite fun to bang on. i like to do iced earth type riffs on my low F on my schecter. and yeah, in my band too the bass is in the same octave as me, but he has more low end and push while i bring the crunch and midrange. the trick about low tunings is to have not too much bass in the EQ or it gets lost in the bass drum and bass.

I'm tempted to Cold Sweat my 8 string Agile (I got one of the 2nd runs). Not got round to it yet.

About the only problem (although don't get an Oceanburst Interceptor Pro) is that the bridge pickup is a little to far away from the bridge.

Lots of fun, though. Pretty good build quality, not greatest fretwork... Not horrible, just not great. Value for money is fantastic.

For importing add approx 25% to the final price incl postage. Shipping's quick. Don't buy a bass-sized hardcase, get it shipped in a box. Pro-tip. ;)

My 7 string came in a box, but when I bought my AL he said Fedex wouldn't ship uncased guitars (I think my 7 string came with UPS)

Kurt at Rondo (Agile) ships with USPS IIRC. ;)

The Agile 8s are a loose fit in a bass case so I don't recommend it.

Neither of mine came USPS, like I say, my AL came Fedex, and I think my Septor came UPS.
