With JJ Ecc83s and JJ EL34L's as Ben recomended after probably months of discussion over what would and wouldnt work well.
And WOW its changed the TSL from a okish bland sounding amp that could just about do what i needed
Into a Fire breathing Gain monster thats as tight as it comes... and thats before i boost it.
When boosted the Lows are very thumpy and percussive but still have character and are no longer flabby at all.
The highs & mids Sizzle just right.
Nothing seems to be overbearing at all everything is exactly what i wanted.
Just thought i'd let everyone know how it went.
I don't have much experience with tubes other than the Ei and marshall/EH pre tubes and the JJ power tubes that i believe were on the way out.
But these are definitely pushing things in the right direction for me now.
