At present my Dean Vs neck is a horrible pale colour, due to the wood its constructed from. Is there any way i can change the colour of the neck, to match the body and the headstock? Its just i want my guitar to look perfect, and that matters to me a lot.
Any ideas?

Is it bolt-on, or neck through?-
In either case, you will have to sand/strip whatever finish is there on the back of the neck, and perhaps the back of the headstock to match, or better compliment the rest...
-What's the finish like?- The more crazy the original finish, the more complex the lacquering-and therefore the more expensive to do...
Would ye post a photo so we can see yer axe?_Drac

I think that the Dean V in question has a set neck. Tobacco sunburst top and brown back, if I remember correctly.

Personally, I think a faded neck adds caracter. 70's V's look cool when they're reliced.

Pictures....
Well my webcam kinda sucks and i dont have a digital camera :( .
But i can tell you its a standard Dean VX in Braziliaburst.
Info is available from www.deanguitars.com or www.soundsmusical.com.  The latter being one of the sparse retailers of Deans in the UK. The neck is probably maple, ill go check on it now. The neck seems to be a bolt on, and the finish is satin i believe.
