That looks very cool, looking forward to seeing it completed. 

Having fondled a Road Worn 50s Strat in a shop a month or two ago I decided that the neck was something I could get really excited about so having scoured eBay for a bit I've just taken delivery of this:

I'll be putting it on my Highway One Strat next week I think.  These Road Worns are pretty addictive!

All the "big boys" only have black left. There are a few Customs out there though.
Although I did find a couple white ones online, there was nothing close where I could actually play one.
Knowing that there are two major things I would change and a couple of minor bits as well, this seemed to be the best way to go.

Neck is ordered. USA Custom Guitars 22 fret, CBS head, 14" radius 6100 SS, 1-11/16" nut.
Two piece maple/maple

Warmoth "humbucker spaced" (2-1/8") Strat hardtail. This bridge will bolt right on to the existing holes. String passage will have to be opened up a tiny bit to accommodate the spacing.
Maybe later when I get a little time I'll put a Floyd on this one...  :lol:

I'll try the wide range hb's, these could be subject to change rather quickly.

Electrosocket jack and Kluson tuners.

Neck will be oil over brown shoe polish... :D

Edit: Oh, and a Glendale Guitars Extreme fat neck plate, four bolts.
Straplocks.

All told about the same cost by the time I'm done.
