Bet you don't try to play that in any music shops :D

Great stuff. I've just traded one of my guitars  for my son's Strat and have fitted Apaches to it (replacing SD Hotrails). Delighted with them - amazing how versatile they can be, high gain as well as clean.

I was surprised at first, they are much less bright than I'd have expected. It's all good though, I realised that the P91/92 on my LP Special, which seem much brighter, actually have more upper mids, but not treble. When I listen to this clip I think I should play that Strat more, but intuitively I'd always grab a Humbucker guitar.

good rendition of one of the many versions .good tone, but the backing keyboards sound a bit weird through my headphones in the solo bit(maybe too loud).single coil lover myself ,but they do make you work harder.listen to rainbow 'on stage',(you probably have) without doubt ritchie in his finest 'hour',flawless tone, inspired playing... still my fave player
