I sold the Fender Roscoe Beck Bass V for more than I paid for it (don't tell my cousin, he'll want a cut of the profit), my fingers just couldn't take the width of the neck anymore!

With only playing bass very rarely, and only for fun, I picked up a Mexi P-Bass.  This thing practically plays itself, not the toiling the Roscoe was.

I love the look of that !   :D

Between the simplicity, appealing colour - and the reported playablilty , it reminds me that if I 'Jazzed' on anything other than my archtops, it would be a nice Bass like that. Ironically, I have never liked the look of a 'Jazz' Bass for the job.   I can almost feel it under the fingers by just looking at the photos.  Nice score . :)

I highly support the use of bkp pbass pickups. Clearer than the stock ones on the mex

I've been gassing for a bass for a while now and these are not helping!

I ain't paying £30-40 for a piece of mirrored plastic.  That's a big wedge to the new pickup pot.

(I was playing Running Free earlier though :) )
