^If you're gigging, just use one bank per song if you use a lot of settings. If you're messing about at home or in the studio it's not really an issue anyway.

I find that I have a bank per favourite band to play

So if 1-9 is what I use for Kiss stuff , I'll have clean, crunch , more crunch, lead with echo, lead with flange etc
10-19 may be Lynch /Dokken type stuff so I will have similar signature sounds there, clean, clean with big chorus & reverb pushed clean, crunch, high gain, lead gain with delay  etc
20-29 may be Queensryche-y type stuff
30-39 for Scorps & Schenker

Well ive always used a bit of effects here and there but nothing to extravagant, although i'm wondering with the extra flexibility whether that would inevitably change  :)
