I have never tried the Tonerider pedals, but from clips I've heard they sound good and they're really nice priced so they would be my best bang for the buck bet as well.

But like Telerocker says, the Emma Reezafratzitz is an excellent pedal and it can cover a lot of ground. Emma also makes an overdrive pedal called Stinkbug. I have only tried the Stinkbug once, but it's a real killer.

Yes, the Stinkbug is on my list and they do have a very versatile metalpedal too: the Pisdywaudot or something (what's in a name!). This pedal does bluesstuff as well. It is made to put in front of your clean channel and makes even a strat growl. The Suhr Riot is designed the same way and a very good pedal, but has not the enormous amount of gain the Pisdywaudot has. And all Emma's sound great, made by and for guitarist, just like BKP's. Very organic and fat. I have also the envelopefilter (Discumbobulator), which is killer too. The Reeza is my fav, cause it can do nearly anything and never sounds bad. But, when Tonerider make good pedals for a budgetprice that is good news for lots of players. I will check them out!

What I've heard of the pisdiyauwot it has a very metal sound so I wouldn't expect it to handle blues well, but I have never played the pedal so who am I to say.

Sorry for the bit of Emma thread hijack.

On the lower gainsettings it will do blues as well. I heard it. Palle Schultz from Emma Electronics confirms this. But, of course in the first place is it made for metal. En yes, also sorry for the hijack.
