on the subject of CS Fenders, I played a blue CS Strat at Guitar Guitar that was HEAVILY aged, but I gotta say that it was up there with the best Strats I've ever played - didn't feel clubby like many Strats do to me.  still, £2.5k is alot of cash for any guitar and I ain't got it even if I wanted to.  I good player can make almost any gear sound great.

i know what you mean, and as much as i love CS fenders (or would love one) i think they kinda go against what leo fender had in mind in the first place. course.. if you want to give me a masterbuilt extreme relic in 3 tone sunburst, i'll prob change my mind lol

I got to play a guitar from that special run, it was actually Tim's personal one. Incredible sounding and playing strat, possibly one of the nicest I've ever come across!

Great stuff, if you want to spend that money. But sometimes you have to break the bank for a keeper.
