Got a Vox amPlug for Christmas, the AC30 one. Its quite good actually. Ok thats it, I'm going back to playing Kinks riffs :)

(might use it for recording, its decent enough for demos)

I got myself the exact same one during my homeless period over the summer when all my big gear went into storage. For the money and the size I too was really quite impressed. Can be a little harsh on the ears with my Strat but my Tele with the Piledriver in it sounded really pretty decent. I'd definitely have one around for going on holiday etc. Enjoy your Kinks session!

My girlfriend got herself one for Christmas this year. The package said it was for me though. It's the Lead model. It's not bad for what it is. I can see myself keeping a beater guitar in the trunk and pulling this out on lunch break. It's not perfect sound, but it's a little box you put headphones into. Better than the Rockman I tried years ago.

Either of you got the speaker cab?  I'm seriously debating getting the pair as my main amp (the AC30 one).
Advice worth what you just paid for it.

I very nearly bought one of these for myself but won an iPod touch in a work raffle before I got round to ordering. Have now got an iRig and amplitube for my silent practice. It's pretty decent and portable.

I'd be interested in hearing some of your clips of the amplug gwEm. Some of the youtube ones are very good but I do wonder if they have been mssed with a bit.
I think I hate being indecisive.
