Piledriver - Humbucker equailment
« on: February 14, 2011, 08:39:23 PM »
What would be the closest humbucker to the piledriver? Every time i'd heard this pickup i'd wanted it even more. The thing is that i dont plan to buy a single coil guitar anytime soon. So what would you imagine would be the closest thing to the piledriver?

On another note. Call me insane, but what if i had two piledrivers made into a humbucker ;D
Your music will never be as hard as this!

Oh I know what you mean, but can't answer your questions. You're as insane as I am because I've had the same thoughts about a humbucker version.

the word you are looking for is "equivalent" (it's english; it doesn't have to make sense lol).

the item you are looking for is this: http://cgi.ebay.com/TOG-PICKUP-CONVERSION-RING-HUMBUCKER-TO-SINGLE-CREAM_W0QQitemZ280427578910QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar_Accessories?hash=item414ac9461e

BKP could easily do a HSP90 with a Piledriver wind - Tele bridge pickups are similar to P90s in many ways.

Oh, but if Tim could do a Siamese twin humbucker that would be awesome. Real dark camo finish. Whatever he does to the magnets on the Pat Pending Strat series, do that but have them poking out of the cover some.....

How much would that differ from the Stockholm?
