FWIW, my favourite neck pickup is the VHII & I reckon it would be a great match with the HD, although I'd be happy with the CS & HD.  Depends on whether you want the neck pickup most for lead or cleans.

Antag, thanks.   I like both, but the CS seems a bit more clearer while the HD has that sweetter tone.
