HS set for a 7-string axe...
« on: January 01, 2006, 01:46:40 PM »
Hi!

I'm new to both BKP and this forum, but I heard some BKP pickups that sounded good as hell,so I decided to find out whether there is an option to order a HS pickup set for a 7-string Schecter 007 Elite.

I carefully listened to the sound clips made by forumites here, and for the humbucker thing I thought for either a Warpig or a Nailbomb.I play mostly metal music in the vein of Nevermore/Testament,so good modern power/thrash music.I like to screw a lot of mids into my sound to make the guitar sound bite.My question is that the Warpig or the Nailbomb are available in a 7-string version? If so,how much do they cost?

As for the single,I'm a bit puzzled.I have 2 DD's in the axe now,and for the single I want to get a pickup that stays really clean,as I mainly use it for clean sounds. With it comes the question that the Warpig and the Nailbomb are pickups that can deliver good rhythm and lead tones too?And which single coil pickup would you recommend?

Thanks in advance!

Hi, all of our pickups are available in 7 string format, same as the normal price. For a pickup with thick mids I would choose the Nailbomb over the Warpig. We can make any of our Single coils in 7 string size too, Something like the Triology suite would work well in combination with a Nailbomb.

Thanks, then I'll think I'll go with the Nailbomb+Trilogy when it comes to change pickups.
