BKP for Ash neck through.

Hey guys,

I'll be picking up an ibanez RGT220a prestige in the next couple of days, and i'm wondering what you guys would suggest.

It's an ash body with a maple neck-through.

As far as styles i'm after, or bands that influence me, it's as follows:

Animals as Leaders
Soilwork
In flames
Scale the Summit
Born of Osiris
Opeth

I also love me an awesome jazz fusion tone, something along the lines of guthrie. Other than tone coming from the fingers 8), what pickups would you recommend?

Hmmm I don't know about all of the bands; but I know Tosin, the guitar players from In Flames, and Soilwork use EMG's.  I'm not sure about all of them, but I know Peter Wichers uses EMG 85s.  However, I'm assuming since you are on this board, you want a BK pup!

I've never used them, but from what I understand the Miracle Man pickups are similar (but better and more organic sounding) to that smooth, sizzle, and crunch that you can expect from an EMG.

If anyone knows better, please correct me.
