I too love those blue lights.

I'm not down at all for selling the deluxe. I 'recycle' my gear loads and enjoy selling stuff and buying new stuff - I reckon I get more enjoyment from that than I do actually playing!

I may have to see about pulling a Matt style trick if I get an MJW though. Although Jane has semi said yes she has just stipulated that I could only spend as much as I sold the deluxe for and that the amp was 'the same'. I know that's not going to happen so am wondering if she would notice a difference if I got a combo in tweed! kind of scuppers my plan of getting a head!

And in case you are wondering, I wear the trousers in my house.

I think I hate being indecisive.

Well, after a day of thought and sorting out money (as well as the small matter of seeing my new kids) I'm just about to pull the trigger on a new amp.

More details etc when it gets here. I'm very excited (and will be selling my Blackstar HT1R on if anyone is interested)

At least the producer should get a reward too!  :)
Mules, VHII, Crawler, MM's, IT's, BG50's.

I like that amp Martin has just sold.
I could hide that in the cab and she'd never know or I could say it was a pedal like I did with the HT-5 head :)

I think i will probably go with an ampmaker double 6 kit when i do decide to get something new, or his 18 watter if i can implement some power scaling

I'd considered something along those lines. Two things stopped me 1) finding time to build it 2) I'd need to practice my soldering for a while before I started even thinking about building the kit.

Looks like Barry has put a hold on his stuff at the moment as well. The double 6 sounds great on the youtube clips I have heard.

That'll be the amp that I have just bought then!

Now need to think about a cab to go with it - either matching red or black. Not sure. I'm considering one of the light weight cabs - I understand that Tom has one. Will be interested to hear an opinion on this cab (if you would be so kind Tom!)

Cheers Matt. Just trying to decide whether to splash out on a MJW cab or not now.
