Stormy Monday 'Cover'

Thought I'd go out of my comfort zone and see what I could do with this BT.

I'd like to improve - so be as nasty as you need to be. Just not too nasty, lol.

Not really a cover, but using the backing track.

Some nice phrases in there - but two points, work on your bends, sometimes you over/under bend and go out of tune. My other point is listen carefully to your vibrato, it's a little jerky at times, most great players can be distinguished by their vibrato. Have a listen to BB King as a starting point for both of these points!

Well done though!

Thanks a lot HJM :) I'll definately work on it ASAP. Have you got any good internet sources on vibrato training?

Hi,

nice track... a little bit too much overdrive/treble sometimes. The phrasing is not bad but I can't see the point you are trying to make. Blues is all about getting telling something that is somehow expected but surprising at the same time...

nevertheless I have to say that there're some nice points there. Sort out your vibrato  and think about what you want to say and you are half way there.

thanks a lot for your work.

I liked that alot. What scales/box shapes did you use? Sounds much more interesting than my bluesy attempts
