Polepiece height

Anybody mess around with the polepiece heights on their BKs ? If so, what does it do for you ?

On my meck pickup I had to adjust the pole piece height to make it sound even on clean sounds. On the Bridge, I continually adjust the polepiece height to vary the amount of twang in the sound, the higher the less twangy cause the note get compressed more and has more tone, BUT less clarity. Moving them away does the opposite effect
