Cpig90 - Doing what it was born to do.(noisy)
« on: April 24, 2011, 04:57:58 PM »
Im writing down Riffs for my new band which could be described as Entombed playing Martyrdöd & napalm death.

Its just a small clip, but it should do.

Gear used:
Gibson flying V W/ Hs C-pig 90
Boss Hm-2(Level 10, color 10-10, gain 1)
Pod farm2. 2x Jcm 800 W/ celestion t-75's and shure sm57 straight on.

And theres no bass recorded.

killer riffing! i'd have separated a bit more the guitar tracks and - except for one riff - have lowered reverb level a bit. but that's pure headbanging stuff, i love it!

Sounds great. A well good riffs to boot. Total crust-grind.

honestly.... are you joking??

it sounds like fuzz and random beating of a drum which appear not to be musically linked at all.. sorry if you aren't joking but thats all i hear.

Its ok. This is not for everyone. But it is musically linked, or it was intended to be.

To be fair, I dunno how you can hear drums so clearly rhythmic, albeit fast, as random.

I really like the guitar sounds, total Swede D-beat like Skitsystem or similar.

uhm... it seems like you suffer from severe death metal dislike (that's not a fatal illness, by the way...) ;)

I sort of see what spitfire is saying re the guitar tone. I'm finding it hard to hear a lot of the notes. I can hear some variety but it's not very distinctive. If that's the sort of thing you're going for then fair enough :) It definitely sounds brutal in a grating kind of way.

Gets a bit tiring too. Maybe with the rest of the band, bass and vocals, it would be more enjoyable.
Current BKPs: Miracle Man, Nailbomb, Juggernaut, VHII
Past BKPS: Holy Diver, Trilogy Suite, Sinner, Black Dog
