Recomend me some Bare Knuckles
« on: June 06, 2011, 02:24:24 PM »
I'm looking to upgrade the schecter superrock II's on my all mahogany, neck through Schecter C1 Exotic, although decent pickups they tend to sound a bit undefined and loose at high gain.

I am looking for a big sounding yet tight and defined metal tone (think Gojira) with a good clean tone, and perhaps a bit more output then the schecter pups.
I am also going to be coil spliting them

I play though a Mesa Rect-o-Verb

I posted the same thing over at the Seymour Duncan forum and got recomended the 'Duncan Custom' in bridge which does sound like it would be the kind of thing i am looking for, Just wondering what BKP's have to offer.

Thanks for any input

Have you listened to the soundclips on the main page ? Or the clips posted by forum members ? This would be a good place to start.
PRS Bernie Marsden Abraxas set
PRS S2 Singlecut RY's
JV Strat  IT Bridge
Gibson SG JB bridge
Fender Mex Tele Thinline TV Jones Classics
Fender Bassbreaker 15
Yamaha THR 100 Dual

The Nailbomb sounds like it's my kind of thing, What would be a closest match to a Duncan Custom? and a 59?
