thats really interesting sgmypod. where did you get these pickups? also, i see they do ash, alder and mahogany versions too.

do not is say do not even look at them they are awful, play great but sound like shite, because plexiglass is thin but wieghs a lot, the alder etc thin..no sustain to them..very thin sounding.. pickup was done by Dan armstrongs son..kent so have a handwired a4 (also have a p90 and high gain that came with) they are a definate try before you buy some love the plexi some hate..if ever near Hull you free to give a try

i'll keep all that in mind. the white/ash/maple board one *looks* cool it least. too bad the sound is bad.

The Sash etc ones, I wanted the deep, boom you get with one dirty but the white one did not deliver are nice but very light, remind of a superstrat sound wise

Lol was going cheap for ages too at electro not far from me....same pickup thing..think you only get one with them.....but again if you ask mr kent....only one who does I think...mmmm BKP'd Plexi if only
