Request: 'Kalmah' sound
« on: May 27, 2006, 07:45:07 PM »
Ok, some people might not be arsed about this but i would be so grateful if they would try this for me.
Basically i have a topic in pickups saying how i want a 'Kalmah' sound, Kalmah are a melodic death metal band, if some people could listen to some songs off of the 'They Will return' album and then decide what kind of pickups they would need that would be excellent.
Then, after that could somebody with those pickups try and do a clip in that kind of Kalmah style, so i can hear what it will sound like.

It's a big request but it would help me so much and i would finally be able to chose my set of BKP's.

Cheers, Joe

In the new album they use seymour duncans and custom made guitars from Amfisound or something.
In the other albums i think they used Jackson Soloists with jackson pickups, well thats what they said, though they could have been seymour duncans.
