gwEm and I saw him on this tour and I have lost count of how many times I've seen him

When he is on form he is killer !

Sadly Gary Barden has once again gotten the elbow from the band - from what I hear he was having alcohol addiction issues (not that Michael hasn't also had problems)

Wow, he's on amazing form there - sounds absolutely great, almost note-perfect.  :o :D

(I've been unfortunate when I've seen him live - always "off nights"!)

Great band too.... is that Simon Phillips on drums?
BKPs I've Got:  RR, BKP-91, ITs, VHII, CS set, Emeralds

yes Japan got Simon Phillips and Neil Murray
Europe got Chris Slade (who played with AC/DC, Firm and Tom Jones!) and Chris Glenn (awesome! - from Alex Harvey and early MSG)

Chris Slade was an awesome and welcome sight on the last tour (although we got Herman rarebell too!)

Schenker (nearly always) plays with soul, rather then spit out thousand notes per minute, although he has some pretty steamy lines in this one.

Great drummer.  Played with Gary Moore too, first time I went to see him, back in 1989 or so on the After The War tour.

Have you heard the first track they've released?
It's a typical Voss hack job with Schenker playing over it with way too much gain.
I'm as big a Schenker fan as they come, but I'm not looking forward to this new album :?
