Doesn't veryone buy a Metalzone once when they're 18???

I didn't, but then again I had a mate who ran one through the clean channel of his Mesa Dual Rec. and I never really liked it too much.

He did use his OD channel too, used the Metalzone for higher gain stuff and the OD for mid/high.

The funniest thing was that he played a stock 3xsc Strat and he was in a Hardcore band, well I though it was a bit odd...

That's one of the funny things about the Metal Zone; it can make a banjo sound metal.

I tried a Heavy Metal 2 once. Hairball distortion. Ultra sick. Not my taste though.

I'll probably will be sending Keeley the pedal in a couple of weeks. I'll write on the order form HJM and Tim said hi.

I've been droolin' over the Keeley Tube Screamer as well. Might get that one too when my budget allows it. The clips are great. Perfect for rockabilly too. It sounds like a Fender amp set real loud. Could also be nice too boost the Tube Factor.

I haven't yet. It's not a priority at the moment. But I will, someday.

I know its been mentioned earlier in the thread, but I've got the analogman version. Mike does use the parts he uses in the Tubescreamer mod (I think he uses two of the tubescreamer chips). I can't really give a good description as I'm not really a good player so couldn't really do it justice.
