ve.smedic: i listened through the links you kindly posted and found the clean (jazz/blues) very ordinary.
i don't doubt your experience and understand the difficulty conveying a 'sound' through the internet
but that's what i hear.the metal clip (your fave) does sound fierce although this is not my bag(style wise).
so i'm wondering are they just well built modern metal amps ?

I havent had much time to play with them but they do have their own unique character to the sound and they are pretty recognisable just like an engl has its sound and is instantly recognisable as an engl.

I arent 100% sure on versatility from my limited experience but i can confirm that VHTs are incredibly well built modern metal amps.

They arent really my kinda thing personally but i can definitely see the appeal for people like MDV & Nadzilla etc that are more into the more modern metal scene

Mix isnt finished yet but thats a pretty untreated (some EQ, nothing major) pittbull CL in drop A.

Edit - its not my song, I just recorded it.

That tone is AWESOME! Yeah, it's a lovely sounding amp, think this might be the one for me.  :D  First of all I need to sort out my Daemoness Cimmerian 7 when I finally get the deposit saved, then next purchase after is a Fryette Pittbull for sure.

Cheers for posting that, dude!

Toe-Knee is correct, this is right up my street, heh.
