NPD - DIY Rangemaster
« on: October 16, 2011, 08:28:06 PM »
So finally I got round to building a Rangemaster clone (DIY/boutique/custom, delete as appropriate)-- after scratching my head as to why I couldn't get it to work at all, even in bypass, I realised the tip and ring of the input jack were shorted on the back of the pot-- doh!

Sounds pretty cool, will probably get some more parts and build another, but make it a little more fancy... it's a great little project you can do in a couple of hours :)

(box repurposed from a semi-finished bluesbreaker pedal that I didn't have all the pots for)

Nice one bro. I'm not using trebleboosters, but I should look into them.

you should, they sound fantastic, especially with single coils and low output humbuckers.

nice build Oli!
