The back has a really, really pretty "shimmer" - some light wave across the grain that catch the light.  Really 3D-like.

I'm still in awe by the looks of it, to me it's a piece of art.  The bonus is, you get to play rock n' roll on it too!

Yes, that was what I ask, the tele bridge pu is bigger than the strat and humbuckers coil... Like a lot this idea :)
How does it sound?

Sorry Fernando - I missed your question.  I commented on the sounds here:  http://bareknucklepickups.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=25923.msg339864#msg339864

Basically, it sounds how Paul describes it in the blurb that came with the guitar.  In humbucker mode it sounds "wider" than other guitars - a bit more bass and a bit more top end sparkle.  Really balanced across all the strings, even with loads of gain playing an open C chord.  Something I've never had on a guitar before.

With the coil splits selected, the pickups sound like a cross between a single coil/P90/lipstick.  Big, sparkly and clear.  Same volume as the humbuckers too, which is great so you don't have to change your amp settings.

For live work, I actually like the volume drop/less gain you get from a traditional coil split and the DGT is great for that.  Plus I can throw that around and not worry about it!

If I wanted the best tone I could possibly get though, I'd grab the Sig every single time.  No question whatsoever.

That's exactly what Da Vinci said about the young man who posed for the Mona Lisa

Yep, it do look fab in them camera pics. We await the Mrs Twinfan versions with a certain amount of anticipation :D

Interesting you saying she can hear a difference. My missus has started saying stuff like that as well recently - not too sure whether it's actually true (as it should be, of course, there's obviously a difference, I can hear it, so should she!!), or mebbe she's just humouring me...

Now, tell us, are you actually getting any work done this morning, or are you just sitting there waiting for the end of play, drooling over the pictures?

Well it's band rehearsal tonight, but I'll be taking Goldie for her first run out.

Might have to have a noodle on the Green Machine before I go though  ;)
