I'm really looking for an HSP90 for the neck of my guitar, but I'd like to hear the Stockholm, as I'm tempted to swap out the bridge also. I was really wondering how much the Manhattan neck pickup could take, by way of gain and/or overdrive, until it turns to mud. Currently, I have a Gibson Burstbucker pro in the bridge, but I'm not a fan of humbuckers, so I'm considering HSP90's. I'd like to get good jazz tones from the neck, but be able to get some good, overdriven blues tones as well. From a bridge, I'm looking for some pretty massive crunch, but with good articulation, and ringing chords with good note definition. I really like a good bit of percussion in the attack on my bridge pickups. Any help would be appreciated. I am in the U.S., and Bare Knuckle pickups aren't in such abundance here, that I would be likely to find these in a music store for a nice test drive.
Thanks
Paul
