I want some Aftermaths-do they work in this guitar?
« on: November 16, 2011, 06:03:17 PM »
Im selling my spare head and hoping to get yet some more pups with the cash :-)
so i have  a cbomb set, i have a cold sweat bridge and now i deffinetely want a set  of Aftermaths or at least an Aftermath bridge + a different neck pup maybe.
What i need to know is: would this option work in a schecter omen extreme? mahogany body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, bolt-on neck? i only play in drop D and E standard btw!
Cheers!

yes it would work very well in that setup.

I find the aftermath actually works better in the range of Standard and C# Standard.

I don't really like them for anything lower.

In standard they are super tight and i think you will be very pleased with them

I love my aftermath neck

it is a prerelease one though that is ceramic.

I think you can still get this as a custom option.
