you could check tc ellis too
he's a forum member and sells some fancy guitars for quite cheap
maybe he has a simple and even cheaper lp jr-like model
motorhead's phil campbell has a tc ellis les paul with warpigs and it's one of his favorite live guitars in the last couple years
he also has a tc ellis strat with emgs

The TC Ellis stuff looks great for the money, been meaning to check them out for a while.

The Hodson stuff also looks great value, but with both I'd be wanting to play them first.

A bit late but I can testify these cheapo "LP Juniors" ARE plywood and aren't worth any upgrade, period. Got one for 30€ second-hand for my son, and that's about the right price for it.
Have: Crawlers, BGF 50/52s, Mules, ABomb, RiffRaff
Had : Slowhands (n&m), Trilogy (b)
