Curious wood question about the Miracle Man!
« on: January 30, 2012, 10:06:42 PM »
After getting my Miracle Man set, my band mate wants to do the same in a Warmoth Guitar he's making. I just wondered what kind of wood does the Miracle Man work best in? He wanted to get an Alder Body, but I'm worried it will be too bright for it. I've heard of a few people that it works great in Basswood, but again I'm not familiar with the quality of Warmoth's Basswood.

The music we play is Modern Metalcore.

Cheers

Yeah, that's what I suggested. He wants to know what it would sound like in Alder though. He's always been a Alder/Maple EMG freak haha.

It sounds good in my alder bodied strat. Definitely not too bright but the guitar is rather dark.
