Just made a real mix, let me know how it sounds!

Even better. Still, the first riff is so much out of place :S The rest of the song is top notch. the first riff is just weird in the context

You think? Ouch!
I think it makes it more interesting but... I don't know... I mostly made it cause I had fun doing it!
Like I said in my first post, I haven't played or written any black metal (or any metal at all) for over ten years so what do I know... =)

Still dude, you're doing an amazing job :) It somehow reminds me of one of my fav bands, Deathspell Omega.

Listen to the "chorus" riff :)

Haha thanks!
I love Paracletus with Deathspell Omega! Now and then I check what's happening in "the scene" and I stumbled upon that album and was floored! Haven't checked out their other albums but perhaps I should.
And I see what you mean.

I've started working on a new black metal song. It's not as easy the second time! =) We'll see how it turns out.
I wrote and recorded "Gates of Cadaver" (hahaha) in one day and could barely move my right arm the next day, black metal is physically hard to play!

I want one.

One thing to add here: The other guitarist in my band has been using one of these in an old MIK Cort Telecaster for the past many gigs, and I $%&#ing LOVE that thing. It is so perfect for our sound it's just flat out ridiculous.

I disagree with this statement.  I think it is a total kick ass riff.  I like how the drums completely change the movement, using the same riff.  I've been wanting to get a Telecaster for along time.  This recording makes the desire over the top.  Was going to get Warmoth to make what I wanted, since I prefer less bling, and a flatter fretboard radius.

Its an awesome sound you did.

I'm glad you like it!
My tele is a Warmoth as well. Best guitar I've owned and pretty much the only guitar I play due to it being so extremely versatile. The only thing I really don't like about it is the pickup switch being horisontal. Makes it a bit tricky to switch from bridge to neck fast. Thinking about getting a toggle switch instead but that would ruin the 50's aesthetics...
It's cool to have a guitar that looks exactly like a country guitar but sounds like a beast! =)

Its your guitar, function over form.  Yeah, the country guitar from hell, with true single coils.  I say do the 3 way toggle, make that play the way you want.  Or just get better at flipping the horizontal.
