I use an Axe Fx II which is uber versatile and I'm sure there would be no problem having enough tightness with it.

Fact is, I plan to use this guitar for some official recordings and these will most likely be reamped thru real amps.

The Nailbomb is a great pickup, I don't think you'd have a hard time getting a clear sound with a low A with proper string gauges, since I manage G# with a .52  :lol:
