Right? So, anyone got any experience with Holydivers into high gain amps? What can I expect in comparison to what I've been using? EMGs, DiMarzios, Bill Lawrences, SD Blackouts, etc, etc.

Get me prepared!

Compared to the DiMarzios I know (Evolution, Tone Zone, Super Distortion, D-Sonic) and the EMG81 it is warmer, more open, more refined and with a much more sweeter and natural top end to it. If the guitar sounds good acoustically, the HD will get a lot of great sound out of it.
BTW I used a 5150 as well for many years.
Current BKPs: Miracle Man, Nailbomb, Juggernaut, VHII
Past BKPS: Holy Diver, Trilogy Suite, Sinner, Black Dog

Thanks for this one too....I actually really dig the 81, I just have always wished it wasn't so sterile....anyone else gonna chime in?
