Hello All,

I just recently acquired a BKP rebel yell 4 conductor bridge pickup.  I installed it into my Peavey Odyssey, which has a DPDT mini switch.  I also installed an older humbucker in the neck position but it only has two wires.  So I know that I can't tap/split/ the neck, but would like to either tap/split series/parallel the BKP.  Currently the BKP is being tapped/split by the mini switch, but when it is tapped, the sound almost disappears, and sounds real tin cannish.  Almost like a wah pedal is engaged.  When I roll the tone knob down it sounds like it is 'suppose' to.  But the output is super low.  Have I got the wires backwards from the pickup?  Should I try the series/parallel mod with the mini switch?  It seems when the bridge is not tapped and the vol and tone is wide open, the pickup sounds super trebbly.  But when I roll the tone back and all the way down the pickup sounds 'the way I think it should sound'.  Any comments and suggestions would be great.  Looking for a schematic of my setup as well.  Thanks in advance.
