Thanks for the reply! =)
I had a pair of Seymour Duncanīs installed
before the Bare Knuckles (Rebel Yells). When i installed them, ive read on Seymour Duncan website that i needed to reverse the
bridge magnet and follow the wiring diagram, and it was perfect, worked 100%. Diagram:
http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/wiring-diagrams/schematics.php?schematic=prs_mod_1 When i placed the order on BKP website, i asked for the reversed magnet on the
bridge pickup. When i got the pups and installed them, i just did it following Seymour Duncanīs wiring diagram with equivalent color codes from that chart
https://bareknucklepickups.co.uk/main/downloads/schematics/general/humbuckers/humbucker_colour_code_conversion_chart.pdf What happened was that they sounded
out of phase and very weird. That happened before when i had my
prior Seymour Duncan installed
without the magnet reversed (at that time i removed the screws and opened the neck pickup and reversed the magnet by hand. Canīt do it on BKP since itīs glued, i tried). What i did to try to solve the problem was swap the
black and
red wires on the Bare Knuckle
neck pickup and it worked, the guitar sounded very good. I donīt know if thats the stock sound or what happened, but it sounds really good. I would really like to know if there is something wrong and if the sound
could be better?Ive read on PRS website that i needed the
neck pickup to have the
magnet reversed,
not the bridge. Since i got the bridge reversed instead of the neck, i fliped the red and black wires by instinct, and it worked. But i donīt know how and would really like to hear from someone familiar with
PRS Rotary Switch and itīs complex inside wiring
