Ibanez RT Pickups
« on: February 19, 2006, 05:01:23 PM »
Well the yamaha sg is getting crawlers, and now I need to decide on pickups for an Ibanez RT650. Which is still at the pawn shop  :)  It's a H-S-H combination and I'm going for the heavy shred monster sound. Tim has suggested MM with the Trilogy middle. But as with all pickup decisions the wisdom of the forum must also be consulted. So what do you think :?:

^yeah probably.

Maybe nailbombs with the trilogy might be worth a look too.

And the cold sweat neck pickup is meant to be good for shred.

But yeah, for shred monster, probably MM's.
