yes, that was the 90w version
speakers can overheat depending on time and use, no matter the power handling
amp volume setting was probably around 1-1,5/10 and that was pretty loud
using it for a few hours is enough to blow a good medium rating speaker
I feel that multispeaker cabs with lower powered speakers tend to handle a lot more abuse than a 1x12 with a high powered speaker
a 60w, 75w or 90w mesa cab will handle a 120w amp, but at home or at medium volume band practices... and I wouldn't push it for more than an hour
the g12t75 is a quite scooped and not much loud/sensitive speaker, so people tend to push them harder than v30's trying to get the same in-your-face type of tone
in any case, I'd steer clear of bugera
they're very unreliable amps, despite of sounding good
you could buy a new original peavey 6505+ 60w 1x12 combo for about the same price or a jet city 50w amp
