What size of Cab for a 2x15
« on: June 16, 2012, 06:26:46 PM »
To get a 2x15 cab would you need a 4x12 or could you cram it into an oversized 2x12 like a Zilla Fatboy?

I think you could probably cram it in if you offset the speakers so they werent in line... Love the sound of a 2x15!

Or get something custom made. That would be the best approach I would imagine.

I'd imagine a 2x12 could handle 15'. But like Toe-Knee said, I think custom would be the best way to go.

Jonathan, I had Paul make me a 1x15 in a Modern 2x12 casing a few years ago. Amazing sound with my MJW Roadstar driving it. It's a Jensen Neo so it's ultra easy to carry around too...go for it
