Pickups for a Walnut/maple neck through

Hey all,

I've got a Carvin DC700 with a walnut body, burl maple top, maple fb, and 5 piece walnut/maple neck coming. I have a lingering suspicion that I'll want to change the pickups after I receive it late july/early august.

I play heavier, tight technical metal and a little bit of djent (though the tone I like isn't quite djenty..)
Keith Merrow is a pretty good example of the kinds of tone I like.. thick, tight and br00tal lol

I do play a fair bit of lead as well, so a smooth high end on the neck is a must, and if the bridge has a nice top end thats a plus.

From what I can gather, warpigs sound about right, but I'm not sure if all that walnut won't be too dark for them.
What do you think?

Warpigs seem to work OK in SG guitars and there's a lot of mahogany in those.

Actually, my first thought was a Miracle Man for the bridge. I don't always associate 'thick' with something that's super tight but when I asked for a tighter, more aggressive version of my Holydiver (known as a thick pickup) I was told I should get the Miracle Man as it's thick and fluid but the lower mids also make it thick and it's also tight and aggressive. My Miracle Man arrived today and I'm putting it into a maple neck-thru so if you give me a few days I can tell you what it's like in that if it's any use.

For the neck I'd put a Cold Sweat with the Miracle Man.
