As I'm not a big fan of Herman Li and his sound and much more of Guthrie Govan and bands like Corelia and Haunted Shores, I do need a versatile sound. So I was planning on getting BKPs finally (:. The PUs should be fluid for sweeping and soloing passages as well as aggressive, squealing and appealing for the rhythmparts. I grew fond of the idea, having a Cold Sweat in the Neck and maybe in the Bridge as well! I do also like the idea of having a black hawk in the bridge with alnicos, I like the fusion and prog samples. What's also important - I do need a PU, that's good for cleans, Periphery-like or Corelias "Sound of the glaciers moving"-like
Any suggestions and experiences with the EGEN18 or similar Saber-Models and BKPs? What's the best option for rhythm and lead to melt away faces?
