What sort of do you have available at your rehearsal studio ? Are you looking to be gigging any time soon ?
Some Marshall (i think) Mosfet something (horrible)
JCM800
DSL2000 (i think)
Also some Tiny Terrors
Honestly i just play for fun with some friends, what realy bugs me is that with a strat i have with Seymour Duncan Everything Axe Set i can deal with effects, but the pickups/guitar lacks the "punch" of the humbuckers of the les Paul clone. With the Les Paul i got a better fat rock tone (not so thin) but with effects the sound is somehow "confusing"...
I could by a more expensive... but it will be wasting money as most of the guitars until 1000 need pickups/electronics replacement (besides tuners)!!
I understand (and know) that i valve amp could improve the dynamics and response (and tone overall), nevertheless i will be spending money in something that weights around 25 to 35 Kg to take every week to the rehearsal room for fun.. i live in a flat and have young kids... an amp will be there for the dust most of the time!!!
Probably what i look for doesn't exist.... i just want Fat Rock Tone, able to deal with lot of effects (and doesn't get muddy with distortion)!!!!
My guitars have "nice wood" this has been verified by Professional Musics, no need to buy another guitar, it's useless (unless i go for custom shop stuff which is impossible for me)
So back to track.... :) which ones would you recommend?
