which pickups is the right pickup Flying V gothic
« on: February 03, 2013, 04:41:55 PM »
 Hi, Greetings from Madrid.
I have a new V these days and I dont like  the stock pickups. The sound is bad for me .No definition, only hasrsh ......But I dont know which pickups buy.

The F-Spaced or Standard Spaced , because in this guitar the measure between poles of the bridge pickup is 51mm and it is the measure of a F-SPACEDpickup  and the people say to me that i must buy a standad pickup..........

I need a good advice.

Another subject is which bareknuckle pickups buy . I like slash tone, and Michael shenker UFO tone and Van Halen tone . Please give me a good tone advice.

Peace

RiffRaffs work fine a V. With a booster in front of the amp you can cover a lot of (hard)rockstyles.
Mules, VHII, Crawler, MM's, IT's, BG50's.

both riff raff and mule sets should work pretty well
mules being smoother, riff raff being just a little brighter and more articulate
black dogs could work as well, considering the ebony scale

both pole spacing models will be just a little out
the bridge 53mm pup is closer to the stock 500t pickup spacing
Riff Raff, Mules, Black Dog, VHII's, Cold Sweat
