Scratchplate required, possibly
« on: February 24, 2013, 07:44:39 PM »
Hello - I would like to change the aesthetics of my strat but not go so far as a re-spray (I quite like Fender's Olympic (nearly) white. Orignally the Corgan strat had a black pickguard and 3 x DiMarzio squashed hums.. but Jonothan at Feline installed a black HD in the bridge so I changed the covers on the Chopper and BC1 (or is it 2?) to match. I thought that it looked a bit Jake E. Lee 'ish but I fancy a change.. Getting a new scratch-plate seems to be the quickest way to alter things and I was hoping that someone on the forum might be able to recommend somewhere cool on t'internet where I could source a new item. I was thinking Paisley but conversely something reliced in a king of off-white or parchment? Any thoughts most welcome. I do want to keep the p.ups blacks as I will eventually change the DiMarzios for BKPs and would have done so already if it weren't for my pesky car.
