+1 on the tube amp recordings. But still, as soon as the recording is converted to MP3, half the actual sound is gone.

More like 90-95% of the bitrate.

It's just a rough indication of the pickup's sound.

no because the 'digital thingy' IS the recorder device...

Well i meant something like a pod digital thingy, you would still have to hook that up to a recording device.

ahhhh a pod digital thingys not what i was thinking of....

the little zoom things that we mentioned can record as well as just supplying effects...

but yer with something like a pod you would still need a recording device as well...
