My band's new album.
« on: October 29, 2013, 01:33:06 AM »
Hey all, hope everyone is well!

Just wanted to let you know that my band, Heaven Asunder are releasing our debut album, "Among the Damned". Really proud of it, and hope you guys dig it. Here's a little teaser for you! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x59CRAMSN3A&feature=youtu.be

All of my rhythm parts were recorded with my Miracle Man loaded SG, through a Peavey 5150 which sat beautifully alongside our other guitarists' tone (stock ESP Eclipse). These things kick out such a great high output tone and were a match made in heaven with the Peavey. Going to get my Charvel loaded with some Holy Divers soon, but I was really happy with the sound of the SD's.

We're also running a pledge campaign, so if you like what you hear, then please feel free to support the release. It'd be most appreciated  :D http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/heavenasunder

Either way, just wanted to share it with you guys, hope you dig it. Plenty of raaarry silliness.

I'm not too keen on most modern metal but I have to say this sounds REALLY good. ALL of the clips sound like good songs. The playing is terrific and the tone on the leads is awesome. No wonder you're proud of it. I'd love to hear a couple of full songs.

Thanks Richard, that's awesome to hear! We're all big fans of classic metal, so a lot of old school sounds keep up to (somewhat ironically I guess) keep it fresh in a work of Asking Alexandria's and the like!

One of the tracks is going to be on the Metal Hammer CD, but I'm not sure which issue. Either Dec or Jan I believe. If you really dig it, you could always head to our pledge site and grab yourself a sneaky little download  :D

Sounds good, liking the guitar tones :) Is there a bit of Avenged Sevenfold influence going on there? Some of the bits remind me of their older stuff.
