Flat 52 neck vs nocaster cs fender
« on: October 30, 2013, 10:18:14 AM »
I have a pine bodied telecaster with a one piece maple neck. I'll be playing mainly ambient style guitar so I would like mellow precise cleans that are extremely clean. I know they are completely different pickups (even the magnets are different) but I was wondering what similarities and differences they have. Thank you

Don't have experience with the Nocaster-neck. The BG52-neck has a nice strattiness to it. I like that, but I'm not sure if that's your cup of tea.

What is this 'Stratty neck sound' I keep hear being mentioned. I'm not very familiar with stratocasters or single coil pickups at all. Do you have any sound clips to give an example?
